
Lavander Simple Syrup
Ingredients
- A small handful of freshly picked and rinsed lavender flowers or a tablespoon of dried lavender flowers
- 01 cup white, granulated sugar
- 02 cups of boiling water for the infusion
- A few drops of purple or violet food coloring (optional)
How to make it
Cut the lavender flowers from the stems and place them in a medium bowl. Pour the sugar over the flowers, and gently rub them into the sugar.
Pour 2 cups of boiling water and the food coloring over the lavender sugar and stir with a spoon until the sugar has melted. Cover and let infuse for at least 30 minutes to several hours.
Strain it; the lavender-infused simple syrup is ready to use.

Lavender Margarita
Ingredients
- 2 oz Blanco Tequila
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz Lavender Simple Syrup
- 5 oz creme de Violette
- Ice
How to make it
Shake all ingredients together with ice, pour over the chilled glass, and garnish with a lime wedge.

Lavender Lemonade Mocktail (non-alcoholic)
Ingredients
- Freshly picked and rinsed lavender flowers for garnish
- 2 cups Lavender Simple syrup
- 1-1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cups or more of cold water
- Ice
How to make it
Pour into a serving carafe or pitcher, Lavender simple syrup, and lemon juice. Add another two cups of water. Taste and adjust for tartness. Add more lemon juice or sugar to the desired level of concentration.
Add some thinly sliced lemons and a few lavender sprigs to the pitcher for presentation.
Lavender Gin Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 oz Gin
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1-1/2 oz Lavender Simple syrup
- 3 oz Club Soda (+/- to taste)
- Lavender flowers to garnish
How to make it
Stir gin, lemon juice, and Lavender syrup together in a Collins/Highball glass.
Add 2-3 ice cubes and top with Club Soda.
Garnish with a lavender stalk and some petals, if you wish.
