Brigadeiro is a traditional Brazilian dessert, easy to make with just few ingredients. The dessert is, shaped into small balls covered in chocolate sprinkles and placed in a small size cupcake liner. The mixture may also be poured into small cups, and eaten with a spoon. It's a delicious topping for cakes and cupcakes. Brigadeiro is now found worldwide as a result of Brazilian immigration. Apple pie is a longstanding symbol of America, but the dessert didn't come from America, and neither did the apples. A pie in which the principal filling ingredient is apple originated in England, and it is possible to find a variety of styles. Including several spices, crust upside down, crumb and traditional pastry and, eaten hot or cold, on its own or with ice cream, double cream, custard, or sharp cheddar.
My sweetest memory from childhood is smelling the Carrot Cake my mom used to bake on weekends. The Brazilian version, coming out the oven, chocolate frost melting on top of it. My mouth is just watering right now! For the topping, I like more a Ganache Frosting, but my mom used to top it with Brigadeiro (Brazilian recipe). It worth a try!
